Initially I was trying to run it over a USB 3.0 hard drive and the freezes were unbearable, then I moved it to my NVMe drive and performance marginally improved. However my Windows guest seems to have the hardest time.
Plese help me if you already succed in a similar situation. But this CPU is not avaiolable at cluster OLVM configuration. I have done a little testing in Xubuntu 14.04 64-bit and didn't notice any of these issues. So right now it looks like Ryzens IPC will be pretty similar to Intels offering and with all those cores and threads Im thinking that they should be perfect for running some VMs. Of course I enabled nested virtualization at virtualbox level but nothing change.virsh -r capabilities lists. I am however having periodic freezes in my Windows 8.1 圆4 guest OS. I'm not having the black screen issue I use all 64-bit guests. I have installed the 5.1.23 r115417 test build in Windows 10 圆4.
